Join us for an entertaining night of games and historical conversation. If you’re not interested in playing table top games we have a wide range of contemporary and vintage/retro gaming consoles available for you to play. Feel free to join late or leave early, as time permits.
This year, we will play a set of games that are for larger groups (Table 1) and easier to learn alongside a smaller table (Table 2) that will play more involved games that require learning some of the rules before hand. Everyone is welcome to participate in either set of games and Prof. Lawler and Smith will always be available to facilitate play.
Lighter games will include fan favorites such as Bang!, Salem, Bristol 1335, Hollywood 1947, Ticket to Ride, Nuked, Nations (dice version), and others.
For this week we will be easing into Table 2 games with Gùgōng. Here is a link that explains the general parameters of the game and a video explanation of game play. If inclined, you can also explore the rule book in addition to the game play video.
